In 1845, in Bouzy, Louis César Beaufort started to sell his " Coteaux Champenois " wines :

The Red Bouzy (a red still wine) which is currently very fashionable for its ruby colour, has a delicate red and black fruits taste and is produced only on the best years.

The white Bouzy (a white still wine) made with only Chardonnay can be served with all river fishes.

He started sucessfully to ship his wines, especially in the Paris area, in order to allow people to discover these two quality products.

I have decided to carry on with the name of our late paternal family in order to perpetuate a local tradition based on symbolic " cuvées " newly designed.

These two Champagnes, an harmonious blending of grapes, are a BRUT Champagne and a ROSE Champagne.
Thanks to a strict selection of " crus " and elaborated with passion, both have been reviving in a well balanced and specific style.

Son, grand-son, great-grandson and great-great-grandson of vine-grower, and because I grew up in this environment, I am determined to go on producing a high-quality product.

It is a challenge and an evidence of confidence for your own pleasure.
